Spiritual Growth Bulletin

Sundays: We open by 9 a.m. for set-up. Everyone is invited to help. Thanks! (
Colossians 3:23-2423 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
,
Hebrews 6:10-1210 God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. 11 We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, so that what you hope for may be fully realized. 12 We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.
) After set-up everyone is invited to a prayer meeting to pray for our Worship Service, give thanks, offer other prayers, or just sit-in and listen. (
1 Thessalonians 5:17-1817 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
, Philippians 4:6
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
)

Bibles & Sermons: We'll give you a NIV-2011 edition Bible to follow along during the sermon, to keep and write in it or hi-lite parts that are most helpful. It can be wise to take notes during the sermon of scriptures and points to put into practice.

Grow Spiritually with Weekly Attendance, Serving, & Fellowship: We encourage you to attend every Sunday, as possible, for your maximum spiritual growth. Hebrews 10:24-25 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another -- and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Also, read How to Grow the Most from Attending Church.

Communion is served monthly. The small piece of broken bread is a symbol of Jesus broken body and the tiny cup of grape juice a symbol of His shed blood. By eating and drinking these symbols we express our thanks and faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (Matthew 26:26-29
26 While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, "Take and eat; this is my body."

27 Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you. 28 This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. 29 I tell you, I will not drink from this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom."
)

Baptism: If you've repented and accepted Jesus Christ as both your Lord and Savior and haven't been baptized please see Pastor John. There is no age limit on how old someone must be to be baptized. (Acts 2:36-39
36 "Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah."

37 When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, "Brothers, what shall we do?"

38 Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off-for all whom the Lord our God will call."
) To prepare please read Jesus: Lord & Savior & Repentance & Baptism on our website.

Card Ministry: Cards are available to sign on the eating table(s).

Feed Yourself Spiritually Each Day! Pray continually (1 Thessalonians 5:17
17 pray continually,
), listen to our Lord, and follow Him (John 10:27
27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.
). Pray for discernment and guidance before studying. Get informed to be transformed into Christ-likeness (Romans 12:1-2
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God-this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will.
). Get renewed each day (2 Corinthians 4:16
16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.
). Knowledge alone puffs up (1 Corinthians 8:1
Now about food sacrificed to idols: We know that "We all possess knowledge." But knowledge puffs up while love builds up.
); it must be applied (Matthew 4:4
4 Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'"
). Get into God's Word, and God's Word into you. The main things are the plain things and the plain things are the main things. Major in the majors; minor in the minors.

, Acts 20:27
27 For I have not hesitated to proclaim to you the whole will of God.
, 2 Timothy 4:2-4
2 Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage-with great patience and careful instruction. 3 For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4 They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.
, Revelation 22:18-19
18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll. 19 And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.

Pre-teens & Teens: Please help us in assisting our youth gain as much as possible from their experience at church. They're invited to help set-up our hall and take-down as well. They're encouraged to have one of our Bibles and we encourage you to help them follow along in it during the sermon. We all have a responsibility to assist our youth in becoming ALL they can be, whether they are our biological children, grandchildren, foster children, or our spiritual children (those in our church). Deuteronomy 6:6-7 These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 2 Timothy 3:15 ...from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures...

Thank You for Your Prayers, Tithes, & Offerings! Genesis 28:22 "...of all that you [God] give me I will give you a tenth." The Biblical principle: Give to God first, before yourself, or others.

To OBEY Jesus Great Commission (command) of Matthew 28:19-20 "...GO...MAKE disciples [Christians] of all nations ...TEACHING them to obey everything I have commanded you", we teach as many as possible by our radio messages, website, and Worship Services. (Isaiah 55:11
so is my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
, Luke 14:23
23 "Then the master told his servant, 'Go out to the roads and country lanes and compel them to come in, so that my house will be full.
, Revelation 3:8
8 I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.
